Job Description

We are seeking an experienced support worker to support a young, visually impaired, male in the Stockbridge Village area of the city.  Supporting him to access the community for social and leisure activities, with the aim of expanding his interests and social circle.

This joyful young gentleman loves animals and singing.

The ideal candidate will be a driver with a good sense of fun, awareness of accessible facilities and activities, and a genuine interest in supporting the development of a disabled child.

You will have strong knowledge and experience of supporting people on the autistic spectrum, along with experience in facilitating a visually impaired person. Awareness of epilepsy support would also be an advantage, although training will be provided.
