Job Description
To assist with a variety of tasks which will enable the employer who
needs constant care and support, whilst living independently. Supporting
their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.
Ensuring they are safe, happy, and well.
This role, for a full-time employee, it will involve daytime support between
10am-6pm, including some weekends working on a rotational basis.
For a part-time employee, this role will involve a minimum of 16 hours daytime
work. Hours can be discussed at interview.
Day to day tasks will include taking employer to a day centre to interact with friends.
Support (Personal Care): Going to the toilet, Managing feelings and emotions,
Administering medication and maintaining records, Ensuring food and drink is at a safe temperature before it is consumed, Ensuring food is cut into bitesize pieces.
Support (day to day tasks): support the employer to make new friends and support him to get
out and about. Support the employer to maintain relationships with family and
socialise with his established friends.
Support the employer to attend his social clubs and to engage in
activities he enjoys.
Support the employer to attend medical appointments. Support the employer to learn new skills that enhance his life.
Support the employer to communicate with others to ensure his
voice is heard and his rights are respected
